When you think of INOVA, you may not realize this $250 million credit union started<br />
out in 1942 with just $35 in a <strong>30</strong>0-square-feet corner in the Miles Corporation plant in<br />
Elkhart, Ind. The seven original founders had a vision of something more when they each<br />
invested $5 a share into the idea of cooperative financial services.<br />
In 1976, recognizing the need to grow in order to meet the expanding needs of our<br />
members, the credit union moved to a 4,000-square-feet facility on Beardsley Avenue in<br />
Elkhart. In 1988, our space underwent a major renovation that added another 16,000<br />
square feet to that building.<br />
In 2005, we moved into our newly constructed corporate office in downtown Elkhart.<br />
While this spacious new building is currently 40,000 square feet, the credit union has<br />
long-term plans to expand the four-story building to nearly 80,000 square feet as the<br />
needs of our members grow.<br />
Today, we are proud to accommodate more than 500 companies and over 33,000 members<br />
with branches in three states. In addition, we have 5000 service centers and 35,000 free<br />
ATMs nationwide, online banking, and electronic bill pay for even greater convenience.<br />
“We’ll never lose sight of the vision that started our credit union over 70 years ago. We’ll<br />
continue to put our members first, always looking for ways to provide them with better<br />
