J Kay Aplin is an architectural ceramist with a<br />
background in site-specific work predominantly<br />
for the public realm. She also undertakes<br />
private work for interiors and gardens.<br />
Launched in 2011, The Ceramic House is a largescale,<br />
personal, evolving project, transforming<br />
Kay’s home into a work of art and making a<br />
permanent showcase of her ceramic and<br />
glass creations.<br />
Kay has invited a new selection of established<br />
ceramists to display their work in the context of<br />
her installations to create her biggest show to<br />
date, offering an exciting overview of<br />
contemporary ceramic practice.<br />
<strong>2013</strong> sees the launch of The Ceramic House<br />
