Sensor change without process
interruption
InTrac retractable housings allow
sensors to be easily and safely
inserted into, and withdrawn from,
an on-going process without any
operational interruptions.
During a running process, sensors
can be changed, cleaned or calibrated
with a minimum of effort.
Enhanced safety immersion tube
The patented design of the immersion
tube guarantees complete
separation of the process medium
from the outside environment for
all housings with a tube immersion
depth of 100 or 200 mm, independent
of position. The safety standards
set for present-day process
housings are therefore fully met by
our retractable housings.
Automatic calibration or cleaning
of sensors
All housing models are equipped
with a flushing chamber, allowing
cleaning or calibration of the installed
sensor without interfering
with the running process.
These procedures can also be automated
through appropriate control
systems.
Choice of process adaption
The adaption methods available for
the housings include standard
flanges, cap nut for Ingold/Mettler-
Toledo weld-in sockets, or screw-in
configurations.
Additional functional safety
through integrated sensor detector
This innovation prevents insertion of
the immersion tube into the process
if there is no sensor in place.
Operator safety and environmental
requirements are thereby fully respected.
Variety of material specifications
All wetted parts are available in a
choice of PVC, PVDF, stainless
steel or Hastelloy ® C-22 for optimal
suitability of the housing for specific
process requirements.
Manual or pneumatic modes
The InTrac-SL retractable housings

operation.
Various immersion depths
For installation in reactors, tanks or
pipes, there is a choice of immersion
tubes with lengths of 70,100
