SANMINA-<strong>SCI</strong> EXTENDS ITS LEADERSHIP IN THE DEFENSE AND AEROSPACE<br />

MARKETS WITH LATEST INDUSTRY RECOGNITION<br />

SAN JOSE, Calif. – February 8, 2011 – <strong>Sanmina</strong>-<strong>SCI</strong> Corporation (Nasdaq: SANM), one of<br />

the world’s largest designers and manufacturers of highly complex, technologically advanced<br />

Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), today announced it has earned the prestigious Nadcap<br />

certification at its Singapore PCB location. After a rigorous review and audit, the plant<br />

received the accreditation for superior processes in electronics manufacturing of complex,<br />

high-density PCBs, allowing the facility to meet the specific and highly regulated needs of its<br />

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers in the aerospace industry.<br />

<strong>Sanmina</strong>-<strong>SCI</strong>’s Singapore location offers one of the most advanced, highly complex PCB<br />

product portfolios and migration paths in the industry, providing high-mix/low volume<br />

production with an emphasis on design and engineering services, dedicated quickturn, New<br />

Product Introduction (NPI) and complete assembly. This is <strong>Sanmina</strong>-<strong>SCI</strong>’s fourth Nadcap<br />

certification in just over a year, demonstrating the company’s continued commitment to<br />

providing a global network of quality manufacturing resources to the defense and aerospace<br />

industry. Other locations include Alabama in the United States, as well as Germany and<br />

Thailand.<br />

Nadcap, part of the Performance Review Institute (PRI), is a global cooperative of technical<br />

a standards-setting program for aerospace engineering, defense and related industries. In<br />

addition to the Nadcap and AS9100 certifications, the Singapore facility has also received the<br />

following industry recognitions: Telcordia, TS 16949, TL 9000, ISO 9001-2008, and ISO<br />
