Air Transport in Remoter Regions

This conference gives academics and practitioners the opportunity to discuss and
exchange best practices regarding all aspects of aviation in peripheral regions.
Feedback from previous years tells us that the conference is also a fantastic networking
event. After the last five forums have been held abroad (Lisbon, Bergen etc), we are
delighted to bring the conference back to its origins in the UK. The seventh International
forum on air transport will be held in the magnificent setting of Cornwall. The conference
theme is “Overcoming Perceptions of Peripherality” and key speakers include Tom
Henderson, Al Titterington, Svein Brathens and John King.

Fees and registration
Booking Fee:
£725 if booking before 28 Feb 2011 .
£825 if booking after 28 Feb 2011.
£225 for individuals invited to present.
Fees are payable to Cranfield University and are
inclusive of lunches, social programme, Forum Dinner
and teas/coffees, but do not include accommodation
(special rates for rooms at the Headland are available).
Complimentary upgrade on Air Southwest flights to
Newquay is also included.

Booking conditions
On confirmation of the booking, an invoice will be sent
to you. Payment is required no later than eight weeks
before the Forum or immediately for bookings made
within eight weeks of the beginning of the Forum.
We regret that a fee must be charged when confirmed
bookings are cancelled. In the event of a cancellation,
you may nominate a substitute, but if a suitable
substitute cannot be found the following scale of
charges will apply:
• More than 56 days before the forum starts, the fee
is refunded in full
• Cancellation 28 days or less: 40% fee is
refundable
• Cancellation 14 days or less: 0% of fee is
refundable
