Amitabha is the most ancient Buddha among the Dhayni Buddhas. He is said to reside in the Land of
Ultimate Bliss (Pure Land) in peaceful meditation. He is of red color originating from the red syllable (HRIH).
Amitabha, Sanskrit word, literally means boundless light and boundless life. He is the Buddha in which all
beings enjoy unbounded happiness.
