Mr. Smith: My Lords, on 3rd June Dr. R. Radia was paid Kshs70,000 from the KSKP by<br />

cheque which was deposited in Prime Capital and Credit. The supporting document is page<br />

704. On 7th June, P.G.S. Venora received Kshs92,400 in cash from Saville Investments<br />

Account. The supporting document is page 705. Between 14.1.93 and 1.7.93 there were<br />

two transfers from Mr. Pattni's Savings Account No. 30005, three payments from Saville<br />

Investments and one payment from Manita Holdings. The transfers were for the purchase<br />

of cash deposit bonds and the five cheques, which were all raised on 1.7.93 were deposited<br />

in Prime Bank Limited. The total amount paid was Kshs55,702,041.80.<br />

Dr. Khaminwa: Then you have also made a remark here: "Also see deposits to the<br />

Exchange Bank account number---II?<br />

Mr. Smith: My Lords, when it comes to the sources of funds, like in account No.30005,<br />

it is there. It shows there were various other sources of the funds in that account.<br />

Dr. Khaminwa: And the documents are on pages 706 to 708. Is that correct?<br />

Mr. Smith: Yes, my Lords.<br />

Mr. Smith: Mr. P.K. Mwaura from the KSKP account, banker's cheque for Kshs2,300,000,<br />

which was deposited to the Standard Chartered Bank, my Lords.<br />
