3. The President of Georgia shall be authorized to suspend or<br />
abrogate acts of the Government and the bodies of the executive<br />
power, if they are in contradiction with the Constitution of<br />
Georgia, international treaties and agreements, laws and the<br />
normative acts of the President. (06.02.2004. N3272).<br />
4. The President is the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of<br />
the Armed Forces of Georgia. He/she appoints members of<br />
the National Security Council, and appoints and dismisses the<br />
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Georgia, other<br />
commanders; (27.12.2006. N4136).<br />
5. The President shall be authorized to address the people<br />
and the Parliament. Once a year he/she shall submit a report to<br />
the Parliament on the most important state issues.<br />
6. The President shall exercise other powers determined by<br />
the Constitution and law.<br />
