Il y a parfois dans la vie des illuminations. Comme si un grand barbu (non, pas
Chris Haslam) vous avait balancé un faisceau lumineux du haut de ses nuages pour
vous dire : “C’est le moment de se sortir les doigts du cul mon fils”. On a les dents
qui touchent par terre et on met vaillamment la machine en route. Avec un peu de
recul, on voit ça comme une mise en commun de quelques potes passionnés de street
culture, nostalgiques des temps perdu, convaincus d’un renouveau culturel allant au
delà de ce que la société de consommation veut nous imposer. Au nom du sample,
du skate et du graffiti, on vous a chié un numéro 1 costaud et emblématique. Puis on
est plutôt du genre à estimer que les lois sont faites pour êtres brisées, ce pourquoi on
emmerde les conservateurs qui voudraient nous imposer des règles de travail. On fait
les choses à notre sauce, et ça plaira à ceux qui le veulent. Enfin, malgrès de lourdes
pertes collatérales comme Dj Mehdi, on se persuade que 2011 n’ a pas été qu’une année
de deuil, mais surtout la naissance d’une grande aventure humaine. Pour ce qui est des
aztèques qui descendront du ciel chevauchant des météorites enflammées pour mettre
notre planète à feux et à sang fin 2012, y peuvent bien aller se faire cuire un œuf parce
que on aura pas fait tout ça pour rien.

Sometimes in life there are illuminations. As if a tall, bearded man (no, not Chris
Haslam) would have been swinging with a light beam from the top of his clouds had
told you : “It’s time to get your fingers out of your ass my son”. Our teeth touch the floor
and we put the machine on. With hindsight, we see this as a pooling of some street art
passionated friends, nostalgic of the lost times, convinced of a cultural revival which goes
beyond what the consumer society wants to impose. In the name of the great sample,
the skate and the graffiti, we created for you a massive and emblematic number one.
Moreover, we are the sort of guys believing that rules are made to be broken, why we fuck
off all the conservatives who wants to impose us any working rules. We do things in our
sauce, and it will appeal to those who want. Finally, despite the heavy collateral casualties
as Dj Mehdi , we are persuaded that 2011 wasn’t only a year of mourning, but also the
birth of a great human adventure. About the Aztecs who should come down from heaven
riding flaming meteorites to put our planet on blood and fire end 2012, they can go well
cook themself an egg because we’ll haven’t done all that for nothing.
