J / Avec quels labels ou artistes aimerais-tu bosser à l’avenir ?
P / J’aimerais bien bosser avec des mecs comme Kenny Larkin , mais
ceux avec qui je préfère bosser restent mes meilleurs amis car on se
connait vraiment bien .
J / Il y a un an ou deux on avait pu lire dans la presse que tu voulais
passer sur le long format. Qu’en est-il ? Tu ne vas pas te contenter de
faire dix tracks dancefloor ?
P / Voilà. Le long format arrive, ça ne sera pas forcément un album
dancefloor. Ça va être assez intense avec des truc bien mélodiques
et émotionnels, je pense que ça va être cool, en tout cas ça me plaît
bien . J’espère qu’il sortira sur Quartz.
J / Quels sont tes spots préférés pour jouer ?
P / Il y en a plein, étant donné que je dois faire 90 salles dans l’année.
C’est toujours un plaisir de revenir jouer dans des endroits comme
Aweekenings Festival, il y a aussi pas mal de petits clubs où je vais
depuis 5 ans, où je m’éclate même si il n’y a que 300 personnes .
J’affectionne beaucoup la Hollande, l’Angleterre ou encore le Japon .
J / Une journée type de Paul Ritch c’est quoi ?
P / Quand j’arrive à me réveiller c’est déjà une bonne chose, plutôt
tôt en général vers dix heures du mat’. Je check mes mails, je vais au
studio je reste jusqu’à 19h, je rentre chez moi, me fume un gros bédo,
après je suis avec ma femme et mes potes.
J / Un dernier mot pour conclure cet interview ?

J / Which labels or artists would you like to work with in the future ?
P / I’d like to work with guys like Kenny Larkin, but I prefer
working with my best friends because we know really well.
J / About one or two years ago we read that you wanted to spend the
long format, what’s about it ? You’ll not just make 10 dancefloor tracks ?
P / The long format comes along, it will not be really a danceflloor
album. It will be a pretty intense stuff with something very melodic
and emotional, I think it will be cool in any case.well please. I hope it
will be on Quartz Records.
J / What are your favorite spots to play ?
P / There are a lot because I have to do 90 rooms in the year. It is always
a pleasure to come back and play in places like Aweekenings Festival,
there are quite small clubs where I was 4 or 5 years ago and had real
fun and even though there are only 300 people.I’m fond of Holland,
England and Japan.
J / What is a typical day for Paul Ritch ?
P / I manage to get up it’s already great usually around ten o’clock
in the morning, I check my mails, go to the studio I stay until 7
pm, I go home smoking a large joint. After that I’m with my wife
and my friends.
