The official language week was celebrated<br />
form 14-20 September, 2008. On this occasion<br />
different completions were organized for the<br />
promotion of "Hindi" by the Institutes Hindi Cell.<br />
The completions included Essay Writing ,<br />
Vocabulary, Noting and Drafting, Typing and<br />
Translation. Afier the completion the winners were<br />
awarded.<br />

the gathering of staff members. He emphasized<br />
to work in unity for achieving the goals of Institute<br />

Annual Day Celebration<br />
On 15th November 2008, the Institute<br />
celebrated the Annual Day. It was observed with<br />
Puja and Arti following a two days meeting with<br />
members of QRT, RAC, Institute's Outreach<br />
Partners and other invited guests. The meeting<br />
was mainly oriented with QRT-RAC interaction<br />
for Directorates future mode of activities with five<br />
hill state partners (Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal<br />
Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim and<br />
Uttarakhand) and other research activities.<br />
