Key stakeholders and implementers as stipulated in RA 9709 or <strong>the</strong> Universal Newborn Hearing<br />
Screening and Early Intervention Act <strong>of</strong> 2009 will convene to discuss <strong>the</strong> “roll out” <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> UNSHP.<br />
A general plan and strategic directions will be discussed and <strong>the</strong> Manual <strong>of</strong> Operations will be<br />
presented. Finally, a draft policy will be created at <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> session to guide <strong>the</strong> final<br />
implementation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> enabling law <strong>of</strong> UNHSP.<br />
