… Even during the Civil War, Mota & C.ª, and after the year 2000, Mota-<br />

Engil, kept working in Angola, in almost of the districts.<br />

A relevant fact is that, there is not civil airport in the country in which<br />

the works was not started by Mota-Engil.<br />

2010 – In a partnership with Sonangol and Banco Atlântico, Mota-Engil Engineering and<br />

Construction had created <strong>MOTA</strong>-<strong>ENGIL</strong> <strong>ANGOLA</strong>, a local company, one of the biggest contractors<br />

working in Angola.<br />

Mota & C.ª was the only<br />

foreign company that<br />

remained in the<br />

country, and made a<br />

partnership with State<br />

creating Paviterra, a<br />

earthworks company.<br />

… Following the diversification<br />

strategy of Group to waste and<br />

water sectors, Mota-Engil<br />

established some partnerships in<br />

Angola in environmental field,<br />

creating VISTA GROUP<br />
