The LDK 8000 SportCam uses the same
triax cables installed in many of today’s
stadiums. It supports triax cables at
distances up to 1,200m (3,900 feet);
you can almost double this distance
using an HD triax repeater.
The LDK 8000 SportCam also has the
same controls, look, and feel as our
LDK 8000 series cameras, making it
intuitive to operators while providing
the additional thrill of slow-motion to
viewers.

simultaneous, high-quality SD output
while recording.
True Single-Speed
You can use the LDK 8000 SportCam
as a single-speed camera that functions
like a standard LDK 8000 at 720p or
1080i at 50/59.94 Hz as well. All it
takes is the press of a button to switch
to single-speed native acquisition. In
single-speed mode, the camera can
run on both our regular and high-speed
HD base stations. This compatibility
eliminates the need for additional
equipment, for the flexibility that mobile
productions often require.
