Overview<br />
The goal of this conference is to provide critical care and <strong>in</strong>termediate care nurses with<br />
current <strong>in</strong>formation related to cl<strong>in</strong>ical practice, professional growth and recent health<br />
care trends.<br />

Featured Speakers<br />
Lorra<strong>in</strong>e Micheletti, BSN, MA, CCRN, is nurse manager <strong>in</strong> ICU, CCU and Telemetry<br />
at Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol, Pennsylvania. In 2004 she received the Excellence <strong>in</strong><br />
<strong>Critical</strong> <strong>Care</strong> Management Award from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the<br />
American Association of <strong>Critical</strong> <strong>Care</strong> Nurses (AACN) and served as president of the<br />
local chapter from 2007 to 2008. Lorra<strong>in</strong>e’s experience <strong>in</strong>cludes positions as nurse<br />
manager, director of critical care and cl<strong>in</strong>ical nurse educator. She is a nationally known<br />
lecturer, legal consultant and active member of AACN. Lorra<strong>in</strong>e was a featured speaker<br />
at the 2006, 2007 and 2010 <strong>Facets</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>Critical</strong> <strong>Care</strong> Nurs<strong>in</strong>g conferences.<br />
Kay Wagner, RN, MSN, CTM, has been a registered nurse for more than 25 years,<br />
ma<strong>in</strong>ly focused <strong>in</strong> critical care. Kay obta<strong>in</strong>ed a diploma <strong>in</strong> nurs<strong>in</strong>g from The Toledo<br />
Hospital School of Nurs<strong>in</strong>g and graduated summa cum laude from Sag<strong>in</strong>aw Valley<br />
State University. She is <strong>in</strong> the dissertation phase of complet<strong>in</strong>g her Doctorate <strong>in</strong> <strong>Health</strong><br />
Adm<strong>in</strong>istration from Central Michigan University. Kay lectures locally and nationally on<br />
the topic of humor <strong>in</strong> health care and has been featured on the American Association of<br />
<strong>Critical</strong>-<strong>Care</strong> Nurses Education website.<br />

Grosh Medical Education Fund<br />
S<strong>in</strong>ce 1944, the Grosh Medical Education Fund has made significant contributions to<br />
the advancement of medical education <strong>in</strong> northwest Ohio. Established <strong>in</strong> memory<br />
of Lawrence Chamberla<strong>in</strong> Grosh, MD, who was chief of staff at Toledo Hospital from<br />
1931 to 1943, the Grosh Medical Education Fund supports both medical education<br />
and research.<br />
