Haircolor Lightener
• Offers safe and effective lightening up to 7 levels in only 30 minutes

Mixing
1. Mix 4 oz Scruples Pure Oxi 20 Volume Clear Developer with 1 packet BlondExpress Powder Energizer in an
applicator bottle or non-metallic mixing bowl until powder dissolves.
2. Add 2 oz BlondExpress Conditioning Oil and mix until creamy.
NOTE: Reduce all components by half for a smaller batch (½ packet equals 5 scoops).
Application
Virgin Application
1. Part hair into 4 sections.
2. Beginning at back of head, take ¹/8 -inch partings. Generously apply mixture to hair ½ inch from scalp.
Place cotton strip under parting to prevent lightening mixture from touching scalp.
3. Check hair for processing. Reapply mixture and process longer if hair is not light enough.
When desired lightness is achieved, remove cotton strips, gently rinse and shampoo hair.
4. Prepare a fresh lightening mixture.
5. Beginning at back of head, take ¹/8 -inch partings. Generously apply mixture to root areas.
Do not overlap on previously lightened hair.
6. When desired lightness is achieved, gently rinse and shampoo hair.
Retouch Application (do not apply heat or cover with plastic cap)

lightness is achieved, gently rinse and shampoo hair.
Highlight Application
1. Product may be used for off-the-scalp highlighting methods (i.e. foiling, slicing, painting or capping).
2. Process at room temperature or under a preheated dryer.
3. Check hair for processing. Reapply mixture and process longer if hair is not light enough. When desired
lightness is achieved, gently rinse and shampoo hair.
