for work
From page 22
such as leadership development,
professional development, motivational
speaking, event speaking,
career preparation, and personal
leadership consultation.
Jones-Fosu said he asked himself
what he would do without pay, and
is answer to that question led
im to find what he said was his
urpose.
“I have a formula: purpose plus
assion plus preparation equals fulillment,”
he said.
Much of his personal philosohies
have been carried through to
is company.
“[JS Training Solutions] inspires
eople to believe, think and act,”
Jones-Fosu said.
He said his work is meant to
nspire and allow people to find
heir own potential.
“If you give someone something,
hey’ll use it, but if you allow them
o discover it, they will carry it with
hem,” he said.
TECH:
America
advances
in music
gaming
From page 22
The game (out for PlayStation 2
and 3, Xbox 360, soon Wii) takes
the concept of its other games and
expands it to, well, a full band with
guitar, drums, bass, and vocals. This
creates one of the best party games
ever. The game features nearly 60
tracks with many more available
to download. Something that sets
“Rock Band” apart from “Guitar
Hero” is the ability to download
full albums to rock out to in-game,
as opposed to just single songs.
While that feature is still a work
in progress, announced albums
include The Who’s “Who’s Next”
and Nirvana’s “Nevermind.”
Video games often let people pretend
to be things they aren’t. And
from helping a pooch get his groove
to rocking out like an egotistical
band frontman, music games are
some of the most awesome ways to
escape into that realm.
