Building the Future Ever since man crept out of the caves and started to construct buildings he has been using mortar in some shape or form. The first breakthrough came in the 20th century with the use of liquid bonding agents and the second more than 50 years ago with the development by WACKER of dry polymer binders – the dispersible powders.
