anti-tail <strong>as</strong> it p<strong>as</strong>sed by globular cluster M92<br />

in Hercules on the evening of February 3rd.<br />

Details: ASA 12-inch f/3.6 <strong>as</strong>trograph with FLI<br />

ML8300 CCD camera. Total exposure w<strong>as</strong> 35<br />

minutes through color fi lters.<br />

The Pleiades’ stars in Taurus are rewarding<br />

targets for observers and imagers alike.<br />

Any telescopic view will reveal dozens of<br />

members in <strong>this</strong> nearby cluster, while long<br />

exposures highlight the bluish refl ection<br />

nebulosity surrounding the stars.<br />

Details: Intes-Micro MN84 Maksutov-Newtonian<br />

telescope with QSI 583wsg CCD camera.<br />

Total exposure w<strong>as</strong> 6½ hours through Astrodon<br />

color fi lters.<br />
