a short period of just 27 months, Shastriji Maharaj constructed<br />
a grand mandir – Akshar Mandir. The devotees from Gujarat<br />
assisted by donating money, serving themselves, and convincing<br />
others about the spiritual prowess of Shastriji Maharaj. On 24 May<br />
1934 (Vaishakh sud 10, V.S. 1990), the metallic murtis of Akshar<br />
Purushottam were consecrated according to the tenets of the Vedas.<br />
Shastriji Maharaj appointed Yogiji Maharaj, who was dearest to his<br />
heart as the first mahant of Akshar Mandir.<br />
ATLADRA<br />
Shastriji Maharaj wished to build a mandir here on the land<br />
owned by Mulu Metar and Krishna Mali and which had been<br />
sanctified by Shriji Maharaj. The leader of Atladra village, Shri<br />
Mathurbhai Makandas Patel, was a worldly man and was absorbed<br />
in the pleasures of life. Shastriji Maharaj transformed his heart. He<br />
invited Shastriji Maharaj to Atladra and requested him to build a<br />
mandir there promising to extend all possible help. The devotees<br />
from Kanam and Vakal regions were greatly impressed and<br />
pleased by the construction work of the mandir. They extended
