Scientific divulgation articles
One of our main goals is the scientific divulgation of studies and work done at
IMAR-DOP/UAç. Apart from the list of publications below presented, scientific
divulgation have been made trough the internet by several webpages maintained
in IMAR-DOP/UAç. In those pages have been actualised with important news
related with marine research. We also have divulged our studies in regional and
national televisions, or radio stations.
We maintain regular collaborations with Portuguese edition of “National
Geographic Magazine” and with Portuguese magazine “Mundo Submerso”, and
some sporadic collaboration with generalist magazines (Quo, Visão, Saber and
others). As a result some articles have been made about our work or about team
members of IMAR-DOP/UAç (Fig. 1).

In Ocean Forum webpage (www.horta.uac.pt/ct) the main objective is the
discussion of subjects related with the ocean and all life dependent on it. This
forum has a service of answering questions related with ocean, which in 2001
