VINAVIL 5526
05P002 - 11/09
APPLICATIONS
VINAVIL 5526 is a very versatile copolymer powder; it provides high levels of performances in
cement and gypsum based application, as well as is non-hidraulic products. VINAVIL 5526 is an
ideal redispensible powder in situation where a multipurpose product is required.
VINAVIL 5526 improves substrates adhesion, flexural strength and freeze-thaw resistance.
VINAVIL 5526 when used in repair mortars, increases adhesive and cohesive strengths for
greater durabitily and abrasion resistance.
VINAVIL 5526 is particularly indicated for the formulation of gypsum plasters, since it improves
water resistance, flexural strength and mechanical resistance of finite products.
VINAVIL 5526 allows to increase the water retention, an aspect which is very important for thin
section mortar application on an adsorbing support.
PACKAGING
Vinavil 5526 is available in 25 Kg bags with polyethylene liners and Big Bag of 600 and 1000 Kg.
P 1 - 2
VINAVIL 5526 is a vinyl acetate-vinylversatate redispersible powder.
VINAVIL 5526 is manufactured by spray drying a copolymer dispersion under carefully defined
conditions. Anti-caking agents are incorporated to make sure that powder properties are
maintained during storage and processing.
VINAVIL 5526 should be mixed with dry products and stored in water resistant package.
On contact with water and under the action of mechanical shear, VINAVIL 5526 produces a stable
dispersion which properties are comparable to those of the original dispersion.
