Description<br />

Compact-type condensate collector (vertical design)<br />

with internal immersion tube and integrated bellowssealed<br />

stop valves (V 20.8/K). Without immersion<br />

tube as steam manifold V 20.8 with integrated<br />

bellows-sealed stop valves. Lateral connections<br />

in DN 15, 20 or 25 available. Collecting tube in<br />

DN 40.<br />

The condensate discharged by the steam trap flows<br />

downwards between immersion tube and external<br />

collecting tube, thereby creating a water pocket into<br />

which the immersion tube enters. The space between<br />

immersion tube and collecting tube above the water<br />

pocket acts as a dampening cushion consisting of<br />

flash steam and air bubbles. This steam cushion<br />

effectively prevents water hammer like a dampening<br />

pot.<br />

The condensate flowing into the unit will be forced<br />

into the higher condensate collecting line as a<br />

function of its service pressure (differential pressure).<br />
