Explanation for <strong>2020</strong><br />
On the name <strong>Aquarela</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> <strong>2020</strong> – <strong>Brazil</strong><br />
<strong>International</strong> Touristic <strong>Marketing</strong>: The plan<br />
called <strong>Aquarela</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>, because the essence,<br />
the strategy and the international promotion<br />
content do not change with regard to what<br />
the Embratur accomplishes since 2004,<br />
when the <strong>Plan</strong> were conceived. Touristic<br />
marketing, therefore the focus is tourism<br />
and the image of the country, and not both<br />
soccer and the Olympic sports.<br />
On the action agenda: It will be shared<br />
with the CBF / FIFA and COI/COB official<br />
calendar. Calendars FIFA and COI are the<br />

starting points for the definition of the<br />
moments and the places of performance<br />
of the international promotion of the tourism<br />
and the decisions to take with these<br />
partners.<br />
Embratur will have a blog to share its<br />
performance of international promotion<br />
from the launching of this document, as<br />
well as bringing up to date the action agenda<br />
abroad.<br />
This planning will must be monitored<br />
annually, to be revised and brought updated<br />
so that all the experiences and new studies<br />
can be used to accompany the results and to<br />
define new stages of work.
