LENTEN REGULATIONS
Ash Wednesday & Good Friday are days of Fast & Abstinence.
All Fridays of Lent are Days of Abstinence. The obligation
to Abstain from meat binds Catholics from the age of
14 throughout life. Children under 14 should be encouraged to
perform suitable voluntary penance. The obligation to Fast,
limiting oneself to one full meal & two lighter meals in the
course of a day, binds all adults, from 18 years old to the beginning
of the 60 th year, with nothing between meals except
liquids.

Gently used business attire for men going on job
interviews; shirts, sweaters and ties for young men
going to work; New underwear and socks. Items
will be donated to Your Second Closet located at
The Yerwood Center. The Haitian Catholic Community
Center is in need of gently used and new
clothing items for people of all ages and all seasons.
Please separate the Yerwood items from the
Haitian Center items.
