Director of Advancement<br />

Ms. Sally Dobie is responsible for fundraising, planned giving, alumnae<br />

relations, and marketing and communications. She works closely with the<br />

SMLS Fundraising Committee of the Board of Governors.<br />

Director of Finance and Administration<br />

Mrs. Leslie Boichuk is responsible for the business functions of the school<br />

including student billing, financial reporting, and plant management. She<br />

works closely with the Finance Committee of the Board of Governors.<br />

Director of Global <strong>St</strong>udies<br />

Mrs. Judy Ross is responsible for planning and delivering the Global <strong>St</strong>udies<br />

experiential learning program, including organizing and hosting exchange<br />

groups from our ‘sister schools’. Her office also runs The Duke of Edinburgh’s<br />

Award Program and the Round Square Program, and promotes community<br />

service opportunities.<br />

Director of Information Technology<br />

Mr. Kevin Goodridge is responsible for all information technology at the school.<br />

He manages the IT department, works closely with staff and students, and<br />

monitors the acceptable use of information technology at the school.<br />

Community Relations<br />

Admissions Office<br />

Mrs. Donna Cossitt, Coordinator of Admissions, manages all aspects of the<br />

admission process, and is the key contact for prospective students and their parents.<br />

Advancement Office<br />

The Advancement Office is responsible for fundraising, alumnae relations,<br />

marketing and communications, and provides support to the Parent Association.<br />

Fundraising at SMLS encompasses annual giving, capital and endowment<br />

campaigns, planned giving and events. While parent and alumnae giving remain a<br />

cornerstone of the fundraising program, other sources of donations include faculty<br />

and staff, foundations and corporations.<br />

The Alumnae Relations program at SMLS is designed to build and strengthen<br />

relationships with former students and faculty. Alumnae are invited to stay<br />

connected with current SMLS students and the school by participating in the<br />

Junior Mentorship Program, Career Carousel, Grad Seminars and alumnae events.<br />
