CONTRACT<br />

CONTRACT BO. : REDSO/WP-75-52<br />

This Contract is hereby made and entered into thisc day of February 1975 between<br />

the Government of the Republic nf Mali (Hereinafter clled "GRM") and Experience<br />

Incorporated, a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State<br />

of Minnesota, United States of America, with main offices at 1930 Damn Tower,<br />

Minneapolis, Minnesota (Hereinafter called the "Contractor").<br />

-H1EREAS, GRM is desirous that advisory and consulting services be rendered by the<br />

Contr-ctor, and WHEREAS GRM hereby appoints the Contractor and the Contractor hereby<br />

accepts the appointment of the terms and conditions set forth, it is hereby agreed<br />

by and between the pa:ties hereto as follows:<br />

ARTICLE I - STATEMENT OF WORK<br />

A. Objectives of the Contract<br />

The objective of this contrct is to provi& a five-man residential advisory team,<br />

short-term specialists and home office support to give advisory, administrative,<br />

management and procurement services to GRM in the following areas, under the project<br />

known as the Mali Livestock Project.<br />

1. Technical advice for expansion of livestock production by sedenttry<br />

farmers in the Koulikoro and Douna regions;<br />

2. Construction of, and technical advice for the operation of a feedlot<br />

in Segou with an annual capacity of 5,000 animals per year.<br />

Clearing, seeding, construction of, and technical advice for the<br />

operation of the Doukolomba <strong>Par</strong>k managed grazing area;<br />

4. Construction of, and technical advice for the operations of a<br />

Tienfalla feedlot and managed grazing areas in Tienfalla with an<br />

annual capacity of 3,000 animals per year.
