This Contract is hereby made and entered into thisc day of February 1975 between
the Government of the Republic nf Mali (Hereinafter clled "GRM") and Experience
Incorporated, a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State
of Minnesota, United States of America, with main offices at 1930 Damn Tower,
Minneapolis, Minnesota (Hereinafter called the "Contractor").
-H1EREAS, GRM is desirous that advisory and consulting services be rendered by the
Contr-ctor, and WHEREAS GRM hereby appoints the Contractor and the Contractor hereby
accepts the appointment of the terms and conditions set forth, it is hereby agreed
by and between the pa:ties hereto as follows:
ARTICLE I - STATEMENT OF WORK
A. Objectives of the Contract
The objective of this contrct is to provi& a five-man residential advisory team,
short-term specialists and home office support to give advisory, administrative,
management and procurement services to GRM in the following areas, under the project
known as the Mali Livestock Project.
1. Technical advice for expansion of livestock production by sedenttry
farmers in the Koulikoro and Douna regions;
2. Construction of, and technical advice for the operation of a feedlot
in Segou with an annual capacity of 5,000 animals per year.
Clearing, seeding, construction of, and technical advice for the
operation of the Doukolomba Park managed grazing area;
4. Construction of, and technical advice for the operations of a
Tienfalla feedlot and managed grazing areas in Tienfalla with an
annual capacity of 3,000 animals per year.
