The <strong>VARAN</strong> mounted terminal is an intelligent terminal<br />

for visualization of automated processes. Process<br />

diagnosis as well as operating and monitoring automated<br />

workflow is simplified using this terminal.<br />

A touch screen serves an input medium for process<br />

data and parameters. The output is displayed on an<br />

8.4“ SVGA TFT color display. The available interfaces<br />

can be used to transmit process data or configure the<br />

terminal. An internal Compact Flash serves as the memory<br />

medium for the operating system, applications<br />

and application data. Through the LSE mask editor,<br />

graphics can be created on the PC then saved and<br />

displayed on the mounted terminal.<br />
