<strong>EMD</strong> <strong>Chemicals</strong> Inc. announces relocation of functions to its corporate<br />
Headquarters in Gibbstown, New Jersey<br />
Gibbstown, NJ– <strong>EMD</strong> <strong>Chemicals</strong> Inc., the North American specialty chemical affiliate of<br />
Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, announced today that functions currently housed<br />
in Hawthorne, NY will be relocated to the company’s corporate headquarters in<br />
Gibbstown, New Jersey.<br />
Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs as well as Sales and Marketing staff that<br />
currently support <strong>EMD</strong>’s Pigments and Cosmetics business will be relocated to the<br />
Gibbstown location over the next six month period. The Hawthorne staff will join<br />
Colleagues in these functions already located in Gibbstown.<br />
As of December 31, <strong>EMD</strong> will no longer have a presence in Hawthorne NY. Production<br />
and distribution sites for the company remain unchanged.<br />
