removal of an entire kidney and adrenal<br />

gland, known as a radical nephrectomy, in<br />

Central Texas April 26 at <strong>Cedar</strong> <strong>Park</strong><br />

procedure called single-incision<br />

laparoscopic surgery. The procedure uses<br />

the patient’s belly button to enter the body,<br />

recently awarded Concordia University<br />

Texas an $85,000 grant for its commitment<br />

to environmental responsibility. The<br />

money will be used for Concordia and<br />

students to map Concordia’s 250-acre<br />

preserve and to begin a recycling program<br />
