As the train glided into Cambridge station, I realized the time had come to discover the reality behind the carefullyconstructed image, surely dreamed up by marketing experts. In the taxi home, I absently picked the slivers of broken bottle from my hair, reflecting on the strange way that myth and reality coincided. What a strange formula for success: an obsession with quality, plain English, technical accuracy, good presentation, animated discussions, beer and chips.
