Before CSI
At CSI: Steady for the Golden Eagles all year,
Maylene was able to run the CSI offense when
All-American Maria Moore was not in the lineup.
She showed she can make an impact, scoring 8
points against Snow last season.
Before CSI: Originally from Mexico, Maylene
moved to Utah her junior year of high school and
gained dual citizenship. She led Mountain View
High School to a league championship her junior
season. MVHS made it to the state semi-finals
that season and Maylene earned second team allregion
and second team all-state honors.
As a senior, she helped MVHS to another league
championship and a second place finish in the
state. Maylene was named first team all-region
and first team all-state her senior year.
