In High School: A point guard at Thomas Jefferson<br />
High School, Daraysha led her team to the play<strong>of</strong>fs three<br />
years.<br />
In 2005, Daraysha was named the Portland Interscholastic<br />
League sportswoman <strong>of</strong> the year for her high<br />
school because <strong>of</strong> her efforts on and <strong>of</strong>f the court.<br />
She also earned honorable mention all-conference<br />
honors as a senior.<br />

Bio<br />
In High School: Maylene, originally from Mexico,<br />
moved to Utah her junior year <strong>of</strong> high school. She led<br />
Mountain View High School to a league championship<br />
her junior season. MVHS made it to the state semi-finals<br />
that season and Maylene earned second team allregion<br />
and second team all-state honors.<br />
As a senior, she helped MVHS to another league<br />
championship and a second place finish in the state.<br />
Maylene was named first team all-region and first team<br />
all-state her senior year.<br />
