ABOUT THE SERVICE:
The Environmental Sanitation Division has two (2) Sections - Permits and
Licensing Section & Pest and Vermin Control Section.
A Sanitary Permit to Operate is issued to different food establishments like
restaurants, café shops, bakeshops, and non-food establishments like hotels,
night clubs, dept. stores, seaports , beauty parlors, spa & massage among
others which is signed by the concerned Sanitary Inspector, Division Chief,
and City Health Officer after compliance of the sanitary requirements that is
requisite for Mayors’ Permit.
For Pest & Vermin Control Section, the following services are rendered:
I. a. Treatment of stagnant water with larvacidal for mosquitoes.
b. Fogging operation may be done in households with confirmed
dengue cases (Medical Certificate needed).
II. a. Disinfection of household with confirmed cases of typhoid fever
(Medical Certificate needed).
