Graduation Requirement: 9 courses<br />
Develop the knowledge and skills necessary for success as a<br />
Medical Transcriptionist. Learn to complete accurate transcription<br />
of complex medical reports and correspondence, within a specified<br />
time limit. Demonstrated competence in knowledge of medical<br />
terminology, English language skills, excellent keyboarding speed,<br />
and proficiency with word processing software is a prerequisite.<br />
PLAR Exams may be available for some courses.<br />
Office Administration-Medical Diploma students will have<br />
completed all courses except Medical Transcribing 3 and 4<br />
and are encouraged to complete these to obtain this<br />
