Aside: I’m skipping numerous technical problems here! E.g., random 3D projections of ∞D hypercubes do not “display the spectrum” as a well ordered smooth curve. It is not hard to characterize the “nice” projections (all 3x3 subdeterminants of the matrix of the projection need to be of the same sign). Fortunately the projection of the generic human observer is of this “nice” type. 27
