The Paw Spa is highly successful twelve months a year, but during the summer
many tourists who visit our area have learned through word of mouth of
Shirley’s expertise. They want their dogs to enjoy a vacation too and usually call
for an appointment upon arrival so do not delay, make your call now. Shirley
looks forward to meeting you and your favourite pet. The Paw Spa, a spa treatment
for your dog.
The Paw Spa opens at 7 am allowing dog owners to drop their pet off on the
way to work and pick it up during lunch hour. Open until 5 pm Monday to Friday
Shirley will make arrangements for some Saturdays. Appointments are necessary

No two dogs are alike, each has individual coats and textures and even breed
standards are constantly changing. Although a knowledgeable professional,
Shirley still attends two seminars every year to stay abreast of all modern technology,
products and available equipment.
Shirley has gained a reputation as an expert dog groomer accepting all breeds
of dogs but is known primarily for specializing in large dogs. The Paw Spa offers
specialty and medicated baths and is the exclusive dealer for the world famous,
all Canadian “A Touch Of Love” products which include in part shampoos, fragrances,
deodorants, paw protectors and a wide variety of grooming accessories.
Shirley Manning began her career in dog grooming
seventeen years ago with The Paw Spa located
in the Juliana Plaza. Three years later Shirley
purchased the business from her friend and
moved the office and shop to her farm on the
Sixth Line, Lakefield.
