Two hundred participants from colleges and universities throughout California will attend workshops that focus on communication skills, cross-cultural awareness, teambuilding, and program planning. Students involved in programming, student organizations, fraternities, sororities, and student government are highly encouraged to attend. This is an excellent opportunity for CSULA students to network with campus leaders from all over the state. The registration fee for Cal State L.A. students is $15 however, many scholarships are available. Completed scholarship applications must be submitted to CSI by April 5. THE LAST ABORTION CLINIC 6:15 pm » U-SU Theatre 1st Floor, University-Student Union While the U.S. still allows women the right to choose about their bodies and health to some extent, pro-life advocates have waged successful campaigns in many states to reduce women’s access to clinics and healthcare professionals providing clear and unbiased family planning services. This documentary investigates the steady decline in the number of healthcare professionals performing abortions, and focuses on local political battles in states and cities where very few clinics perform the controversial procedure.
