Scope and Content Note
This series includes information about Isadora Duncan's work and performances, her
philosophy about art, and impressions of her works documented by artists, sculptors,
photographers, dance historians and critics, and other individuals who had seen her perform.
It also includes writings about her by Edward Gordon Craig, with whom she collaborated
professionally from 1904-1907, and with whom she had a daughter, Deirdre. Performance
contracts, telegrams and receipts from 1904-1907 in Germany, Russia, Poland and Sweden
are also included.

Sweden and Poland.
