HOMECOMING
The social pendulum accelerated with rush­
ing parties and post-football game bashes.
At homecoming time the undergrads put on
a parade for the alumni at which the Phi
Delt's "Mousetrap the Bishops" was trophy
winner.
"I love my wife, but oh! you kid" he gasps
at her, while she pants back, "23-Skidoo";
and they both rock a little more to the
Charleston. These agile hoofers were a
part of the half-time show. We hope that
they still had enough energy left to dance
that evening at the dreamy wind-up to a
super-active Friday and Saturday.
Everybody figured the Phi Psis
had lost their minds again when
they "whipped through the homecoming
parade carrying 160 feet
of Wagner Awning's best green
striped funeral canopy. The
judges disqualified the caterpillar
monstrosity, not because of
its bare legs, but because floats
are supposed to be on wheels.
The Phi Psis complained--their
tail man "was in a wagon.
