countries? Specifically, about the connection between church and state? Did<br />
you know that there is – to this day – a church tax in Germany? All Catholic,<br />
Protestant and Jewish residents of Germany pay about 9% of their income<br />
along with their income tax to support a church. They have to renounce their<br />
religious affiliation and sever relations with the church they were raised in if<br />
they wish to go through the lengthy legal procedure of getting out of paying the<br />
