Who, what, where? Once upon a time… 1984 to be exact, a group of UK expatriates thought it a pity that their children were missing out on a great British Christmas tradition – PANTOMIME. Out of this came the decision to put on a surprise single performance of a pantomime, Snow White, for their families. And so the Secret Pantomime Society was born. From these humble beginnings, SPS has expanded with great success and to increasing audiences. Today a few of the founding members are still involved; and the association continues to grow with a multi-national membership. It is not only the British who are involved with SPS. We have French and many other European nationalities represented - as well as America, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico, to name but a few. SPS is always looking for people interested in theatre – on stage or behind the scenes.
