7 -1 GAMMA , PHI BETA - amma Phi Beta is a close Gsisterhmd made up of a diverse group of women with a variety of aspirations. Our sisterhwd is a backdrop for form- ing lasting friendships, having goad times, and sharing different experiences. Sharing is an impor- tant aspect of Gamma Phi Beta. Returning fmm summer vacation. first semester in Gamma Phi begins with an informal gathering to catch up on everyone's gossip and gmd times. Early in the year. we have a plant sale, with the pro- fits going to our national phiian- thropy, the Gamma Phi Beta Camp for Girls in Canada. Throughout the fall, weekly Happy Hours are interming<strong>led</strong> with our annual Beach Party and a screw-your-sister party. Classic Couples . Homecoming Weekend brings many former Gamma Phi's back to Bucknell. As the fall progresJes, our dance marathon is heid to support a local charity. This part year, we raised money for Geisinger Medical Center. As Christmas approaches, so do Semi-Formais and our annual Christmas party. Santa, one of our Big Brothers, visits. distributing gifts for everyone, and then sends us home for Christmas break1 Second semester begins with Rush and getting to know our new p<strong>led</strong>ger. Most of our spring ac- tivities revolve around our new p<strong>led</strong>ges, such as Big-Little Week and Spring Formals. We continue with our Happy Hours in the spr- ing, along with our Hawaiian Party and PunkIPrep <strong>The</strong>mes.
