General Information 4. Load Index The LOAD INDEX is a numerical code associated with the maximum load a tyre can carry at the speed indicated by its Speed Symbol under specified service conditions specified by the tyre manufacturer up to and including 210 km/h. For speeds in excess of 210 km/h, actual load on the tyre should be reduced according to table “Percentage of Load capacity (%) vs. Speed”.
