8. Tyre Rotation
Periodical rotation will increase the life of your tyres. Please follow the below shown diagram. Preferably new tyres
should be introduced on the rear (including spare)

9. Run Flat Tyre
Today’s car manufacturers are introducing RFT tyres on
increasing number of vehicles.
The RFT tyres are capable of continuing to support the
vehicles weight even at zero pressure.
This enables the customer, in the case of a total air loss,
to drive at reduced speed to the next service station. The
driver no longer has to stop at dangerous areas (highways
/ motorways / bridges / tunnels, etc.) to jack up the vehicle
and change the flat tyre.
As the driver might not recognize that one tyre is operating
at zero pressure, a pressure monitor system must
always be equipped in the vehicle, warning the driver
immediately if an air loss occurs.
For sensors of warning systems, mounted inside the
wheel. Extra care has to be applied during dismounting
and mounting of the tyre.
Check with the vehicles owner / car manufacturers manual
and investigate which kind of sensors are used in your ve-

hicle to prevent any possible damage during handling.
Each RFT tyre is specifically designed for being fitted on a
particular car model, and thus:
- you should always replace RFT tyres by RFT tyres for
your car
- you should not fit RFT tyres on a vehicle which is not
designed for such tyres.
Bridgestone has set up a pan-European service network,

services to drivers equipped with RFT.
Generally: Non trained and inexperienced people should
not mount tyres.

logo applied on the tyres sidewall.
