P ro fi le : Sylvia Thompson-Nicholson
| MSc Epidemiology, Canada‘
‘I would recommend the University of
London International Programmes as
they provide a good, solid foundation
in epidemiology via a distance
program. It allowed me to have a
good balance between work, school
and family. As a mother of three
children, this was very important
to me as I could study from home
without having to separate myself
from my family as well as leave my
24 Postgraduate study in health
long term career. I was able to
work at the program at my
own pace, taking two courses
on average each year.’
Sylvia is a Public Health
Inspector in Canada.
