Matt Gregg

Matt Gregg is
in his second
season as an assistant
offensive
line coach at
Grove City.
Gregg closely
works with offensive
line
coach Bernie
Davis in coordinating
the Wolverines’ line play.
Gregg started each of his final three
seasons at center for Grove City. In
2007, he served as team co-captain. He
capped his career by playing on a Division
III all-star team that represented the
United States against Mexico in the
Aztec Bowl.
Gregg earned First Team All-Presidents’
Athletic Conference in both his
junior and senior season.
He also earned Second Team All-
PAC as a sophomore.
A graduate of Hopewell High
School, Gregg graduated with a
bachelor’s degree in communication in
May 2008.
Joe Walters
ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
Joe Walters is in
his 14th season
as associate athletic
director at
Grove City.
He is also compliancecoordinator
for the
Grove City College
athletic department.
Prior to becoming associate athletic
director, Walters spent 24 seasons as
an assistant football coach.
He is also the head men’s and
women’s tennis coach at the College.
He has guided the men’s program to 18
consecutive Presidents’ Athletic Conference
titles.
In May, Walters led Grove City’s
women’s team to its first-ever berth in
the NCAA Championship Tournament.
Walters is a 1968 graduate of Slippery
Rock State College. then He earned
his master’s of education from SRSC in
1972. Slippery Rock inducted Walters
into its Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.
Dave Lacinski
WIDE RECEIVERS
Dave Lacinski
is in his third season
as Grove
City’s wide receivers
coach.
A 1998 graduate
of Geneva
College, Lacinski
joined the staff
prior to the
2007 season.
During his first two years at Grove
City, he has played a major role in the
development of Grove City’s passing
game while fostering a young group of
receivers.
Lacinski played quarterback at
Geneva, helping the Golden Tornadoes
to an 11-2 record and a top-five national
ranking in the NAIA poll in his senior
season, 1997.
Lacinski graduated from Geneva
with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
He also owns a master of science
degree in financial planning from Kansas
State University.
Susan Roberts
ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
Susan Roberts
is in her 12th
year as associate
athletic director
at Grove
City College.
This fall, Roberts
is entering
her 25th season
as Grove CIty’s
head volleyball
coach. She has guided Grove City to
522 wins and nine Presidents’ Athletic
Conference titles as head coach.
In 1985, Roberts led Grove City to
a 41-0 regular-season record and a No.
1 national ranking. She earned AVCA
Coach of the Year honors that year.
Roberts also directed Grove City to
ECAC crowns in 1994, 1995 and 2001.
She also coached basketball (1985-
93) and softball (1994-98) at Grove City.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in
physical education from Ohio University
in 1975 and then earned her master’s
degree in biomechanics from the University
of Arizona.

Kay Mitchell Emigh
HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER
Kay Mitchell
Emigh is in her
24th year as the
College’s head
athletic trainer
and her 25th
overall year at
Grove City.
Considered as
one of the top
collegiate athletic
trainers in the country, Emigh
earned her bachelor’s of science degree
from Slippery Rock University in 1983.
She also received a master’s of education
from Slippery Rock in 1986.
A native of Elizabeth, Pa., Emigh is a
member of the National Athletic Trainers
Association (NATA), the Eastern Athletic
Trainers Association (EATA) and the
Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society.
Emigh also served as the northwest
representative for the Pennsylvania Athletic
Trainers’ Society Board of Directors
from 2001-2004.
She lives in Liberty Township with
her husband, Tom.
