On 9/28/2012 Chico Police distributed a press release (copy attached) regarding the
outcome of an investigation into a series of burglaries, robberies and one carjacking. At
the time of that press release, there were two suspects still outstanding.
As of 10/12/12, both suspects have been apprehended. Ms. Johnson was arrested by
Chico Police on 9/29/12 in Chico. Mr. Ned was arrested without incident in Berkley by
the Berkley Police Department on 10/11/12.

Type of Incident: Additional suspects identified in several Chico area robberies and
burglaries.
Location: Multiple Chico locations.
Suspects: Eagleton, Deangelo. Age 18 of Oakland (in custody)
Ned, Michael Leandre. Age 19 of Chico (wanted)
Lindquist, Nathan. Age 23 of Chico (in custody)
Johnson, Latrice. Age 20 of Chico. (wanted)
In mid August, Chico Police arrested Deangelo Eagleton pursuant to a search warrant
served at 1114 Nord Ave. He was identified as a subject wanted for a homicide in
Emeryville Ca. At the time, he was believed to be responsible for a number of
robberies in the Chico area.
During the course of the investigation, Chico Police Detectives learned that Eagleton
associated with a number of other persons who lived at or frequented Eagleton’s Nord
Avenue apartment. Police have developed evidence to link Mr. Eagleton and his
associates to a number of Chico robberies and burglaries. The suspects and the
cases they are linked to are listed below:
Case no: 12-4833 Roseleaf Court, Chico Home Invasion Robbery
On 7/13/2012 2 subjects terrorized the residents of a home on Roseleaf Court in Chico
during a home invasion robbery. The suspects were armed with handguns during the
incident. One of the suspects struck one of the victims with a handgun, causing
injuries. Eagleton and Ned have been identified as being responsible for this crime.
There is one additional unidentified suspect still outstanding.
Case no: 12-5241 1114 Nord Ave, Chico Residential Burglary
On 7/26/2012 a resident at 1114 Nord Avenue reported that his apartment had been
burglarized while he was not at home. During the burglary, a handgun, a rifle and
numerous other items were taken. Eagleton and Ned were identified as committing this
burglary. An unidentified 3 rd suspect is still outstanding. None of the property was
ever recovered.

Case no: 12-5249 1100 block of Nord Ave, Chico Robbery
On 7/29/2012 at 2230 hrs. an 18 year old male was walking in the 1100 block of Nord
Avenue when he was approached by 2 males. One of the males pulled a handgun and
robbed the victim of his wallet. Eagleton has been identified as responsible for this
robbery. The second suspect has been identified as a juvenile whose name is being
withheld due to age. A warrant has been obtained for his arrest. Charges are being
sought against Mr. Eagleton for this crime.
Case no: 12-4829 1000 block of Nord Ave Carjacking
On 7/13/2012 a 29 year old male made contact with a female via the internet and
arranged to meet her for the purpose of engaging in an act of sex in exchange for
money. The female directed the victim to drive to a nearby location. Upon arrival, he
was confronted by two armed males who beat him and stole his car. Latrice Johnson
was identified as the female who had set up the robbery. Police have a warrant for her
arrest for the crime of robbery. Her whereabouts are unknown. One of the armed
males was identified as Nathan Lindquist. He was later arrested in Yreka Ca and has
since been transported to Butte County on a charge of robbery. The third suspect is
unidentified.
Case no: 12-5194 W. 9 th Street at Ivy Street Firearm possession
On 7/27/2012, Officers responded to a report of a fight near W. 9 th and Ivy Street.
Upon arrival, several suspects fled on foot. Officers were able to catch and detain
several people. They found a loaded handgun lying on the ground along the path of the
suspects attempted escape. At the time they were unable to identify who had been in
possession of that gun. During the course of the investigation, Officers have identified
Michael Ned as the person who had been in possession of that concealed firearm.
Police hold a warrant for resisting arrest and possession of a concealed, loaded
firearm.
