XII Classroom Instruction Beyond Duties Assigned:
appropriate classroom teaching assignments. A request for a teaching assignment by a management or
confidential employee, that are above required teaching duties, requires the recommendation of the
appropriate subject matter Dean & Vice President for Academic Affairs and approval of the President
of the College. Under the terms of this policy, a teaching assignment may not exceed one course in any
one term of instruction, may not interfere with the responsibilities of the employee and the teaching
must take place outside of the normal working day of the employee. Compensation for any approved
