The cost for the March line dance party is $5 per person through March<br />

Group Storytelling Using Pictures<br />
The group creates and tells a story each week using a picture or a<br />
cartoon. A fun way to be creative, use your imagination, recall and<br />
share pleasant memories, and keep sharp your communication skills<br />
– both talking and listening. The created picture stories will be saved<br />
and put into a book along with the names <strong>of</strong> the ‘creators’! No class<br />

Living with Loss<br />
An education and short-term support group for those suffering the loss<br />
<strong>of</strong> a loved one. This four session program will help you learn about the<br />
grief process, acquire coping skills, and share your experience with<br />
others who are also grieving. Participants in previous groups found it<br />
easier in a group with others experiencing similar challenges, and to<br />
have useful hand-outs to take with them for future reference. The group<br />
is open to adults <strong>of</strong> all ages.<br />

January 2 for residents and January 4 for nonresidents. After March 1,<br />
table space will be available to anyone wishing to participate. Donations<br />
for the bake sale would be appreciated. If you would like to donate to the<br />
bake sale, please let us know when you register for your table space.<br />

Performing Groups – Taking Their Show<br />
on the Road<br />
<strong>Mentor</strong> Senior Center is home to three fantastic performing groups –<br />
the <strong>Mentor</strong> Follies Dancers, the <strong>Mentor</strong> Music Makers (singing group),<br />
and <strong>Mentor</strong>’s Act 1 (theater group). All three groups are composed <strong>of</strong><br />
talented, energetic <strong>Mentor</strong> Senior Center participants. These groups <strong>of</strong>fer<br />
inspiring and fun entertainment at a very reasonable cost. To book one<br />
<strong>of</strong> the performing groups, call the Senior Center at 440-974-5725.<br />

Memory Fitness<br />
Give your memory a boost with exercises designed to stimulate the<br />
brain and strategies you can use to support your memory. The latest<br />
in current memory research will also be discussed in the group. Must<br />
register by one week prior to start date, limit 20.<br />

Memory Care Support Group<br />
This support and discussion group for caregivers covers a variety <strong>of</strong><br />
topics including signs & symptoms, available resources, help for the<br />
caregiver and any topic that the group would like to address. This<br />
program is sponsored by the <strong>Mentor</strong> Senior Center, Kemper House<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Mentor</strong>, & the Alzheimer’s Association. Newcomers are always<br />
welcome. Refreshments are served.<br />
