Line Dance Party
Line dances lead in a party atmosphere along with light refreshments.
The cost for the March line dance party is $5 per person through March
7 and $7 per person thereafter. The cost for the May line dance party is
$5 per person through May 2 and $7 per person thereafter.

The Mentor Senior Center celebrates our city’s 50 th Anniversary with a
live special event tribute featuring the stylish and diverse music and
comedy of the early 1960’s. Step back in time for a wonderful evening
of nostalgia and fun.

Recording Your Legacy
Share remembrances of your life from childhood to now that made you
who you are, and what you want your loved ones to remember about
you. Create a memory keepsake to share. The group is open to adults of

Group Storytelling Using Pictures
The group creates and tells a story each week using a picture or a
cartoon. A fun way to be creative, use your imagination, recall and
share pleasant memories, and keep sharp your communication skills
– both talking and listening. The created picture stories will be saved
and put into a book along with the names of the ‘creators’! No class
January 21, February 4, February 18, March 4.

Living with Loss
An education and short-term support group for those suffering the loss
of a loved one. This four session program will help you learn about the
grief process, acquire coping skills, and share your experience with
others who are also grieving. Participants in previous groups found it
easier in a group with others experiencing similar challenges, and to
have useful hand-outs to take with them for future reference. The group
is open to adults of all ages.

foot table or a round table. Table space is available to seniors beginning
January 2 for residents and January 4 for nonresidents. After March 1,
table space will be available to anyone wishing to participate. Donations
for the bake sale would be appreciated. If you would like to donate to the
bake sale, please let us know when you register for your table space.

Performing Groups – Taking Their Show
on the Road
Mentor Senior Center is home to three fantastic performing groups –
the Mentor Follies Dancers, the Mentor Music Makers (singing group),
and Mentor’s Act 1 (theater group). All three groups are composed of
talented, energetic Mentor Senior Center participants. These groups offer
inspiring and fun entertainment at a very reasonable cost. To book one
of the performing groups, call the Senior Center at 440-974-5725.

Memory Fitness
Give your memory a boost with exercises designed to stimulate the
brain and strategies you can use to support your memory. The latest
in current memory research will also be discussed in the group. Must
register by one week prior to start date, limit 20.

Memory Care Support Group
This support and discussion group for caregivers covers a variety of
topics including signs & symptoms, available resources, help for the
caregiver and any topic that the group would like to address. This
program is sponsored by the Mentor Senior Center, Kemper House
of Mentor, & the Alzheimer’s Association. Newcomers are always
welcome. Refreshments are served.
